Shopping time! You’ll find some familiar stores and you’ll discover new stores that you’ll only find here in Poland. You’ll find that a lot of stores are the same or similar to your home country.
When it comes to groceries there is a big variety of choice when it comes to supermarkets. You might be familiar with Auchan, Lidl, Carrefour since those are international brands. Therefore, Biedronka is a Polish supermarket where you can buy comparatively inexpensive groceries.
There are also small size store chains such as Zabka or Lewiatan (Spar less common) in case you need to do some quick shopping. Those are almost on every street and are quite useful in daily life.
Here you can find a link to all supermarket chains in Poland
All around Krakow you can find big shopping malls where you can buy anything you need. Those are called “Galeria”. The biggest ones are Galeria Krakowska, Galeria Bronowice, and Galeria Bonarka.
If you are thinking about buying some fun and inexpensive stuff for your apartment, a good place might be Ikea.
Regarding fashion stores you might be familiar with international ones like H&M, ZARA, etc. Most of them are in those “galerias” mentioned above.

Schindler’s Factory
For me the best museum in Kraków, even in Poland. A bit sad because of history, which is showed there, but for sure it’s a place worthy to visit. You can experience this place with all your senses. – Judyta
St. Mary’s Basilica
The most important church in Kraków, right after the Wawel Cathedral. The construction was started in late 13th century. In late 19th century, Tadeusz Stryjeński headed extensive restoration of the temple. At that time, the church acquired new painted decorations designed by Jan Matejko and created by Stanisław Wyspiański and others. The vault imitates a star-filled sky. – Jessica
Kopiec Krakusa
Best place for picnic or date 😉 – Bohdan
