European healthcare card

If you are a EU citizen: Before traveling to Poland, we would recommend you to request a “European Health Insurance Card” to make it hassle free in case you have to visit the hospital / doctor.

Once you start working and paying taxes in Poland, you are entitled for a Polish healthcare card valid in all of the countries of the EU.

To get the card you should visit the offices of NFZ Kraków in Ul. Wadowicka 8W, 30-415 Kraków. You should bring your ID/passport with you and PESEL number. It will be required to fill a standard form and the card will be issued in less than 5 minutes.

Private healthcare

TTEC Cracow supports private healthcare provided by Luxmed. (English or Polish)

You can choose from three different packages of insurance (2 of which are fully covered by TTEC), depending on the services you would like to use. You may also (for an additional cost) sign up your relative.

In the first week working with TTEC, you’ll get an email with all of the information about the packages you can choose and how to schedule your appointments with the doctor.

Once you sign up for one of the packages you can download the app on your mobile phone and schedule appointments online very easily in English.

Public Healthcare System

In Poland when you are hired by a company you pay automatically the public healthcare in your taxes.

The public insurance name is NFZ. Visit the NFZ website.

You have the right to use all of the facilities in Poland that work under NFZ insurance. The best option of primary doctor (general doctor) for foreigners who don’t speak Polish are the Luxmed* facilities supported by NFZ.

First of all you need to sign the registration in NFZ for Luxmed. You can do it in Ul. Wadowicka 8W, 30-415 Kraków. They will require only a valid ID/passport, your PESEL number and phone number.

Once you are registered, you can book an appointment with a general doctor on the Luxmed website and select the path of NFZ:

Once you are inside, you should insert your telephone number and PESEL (or date of birth).

When you need to go for a specialist that was referred by the general doctor, you should contact the hospitals in Cracow that support NFZ. The gatekeepers usually don’t speak English so the best option is to contact them by email, they usually answer in 24h. One of the biggest hospitals in Cracow is 5 Military Clinical Hospital SPZOZ in Ul. Wrocławska 1-3, 30-901 Cracow. You can contact them by register@5wszk.com.pl.

*NOTE: Luxmed facilities are usually open for private insurance. NFZ supports a limited number of luxmed facilities in Kraków.

Multisport Plus Card

This card offers its holders a variety of activities across Poland. With the Multisport card you may access gyms, fitness points, swimming pools, climbing walls and many more. You may also (for additional cost) sign up your partner. Ask HC about the details and start enjoying all the fun activities!

Eye Care Scheme

We invented the Eye Care Reimbursement Policy which applies to all TTEC employees in Poland who perform their daily responsibilities using a computer screen and who are ordered by a recognized eye care practitioner or medical doctor to perform computer work with the help of spectacles.

Reimbursable Cost

  • The total cost of corrective lenses is reimbursable up to the gross amount of 1000 zł
  • The cost of frames is reimbursable up to the gross amount of 250 zł

Additional Annual Leave

After each year of employment at TTEC, you’re entitled to 1 additional day of paid leave. Maximum number of added AL days is 5 (after 5 and more years at TTEC).

Anniversary Bonus

Starting from your 2nd anniversary of joining TTEC, you will be receiving a bonus each year, as long as you meet certain criteria, more information will be shared with you once you join. The bonus amounts to PLN 1000 for the 2nd anniversary and PLN 2000 for 3rd and following!

PPK Plan

The Employee Capital Plan is a voluntary programme that focuses on long-term saving, to help you accumulate additional savings for your retirement. PPK is financed by your employer, the State and you. You can terminate and restart your participation in the Plan at any time and the savings accumulated within PPK are fully private. More details you will receive in your first days of employment.

Employee Referral Program

Do you have a friend or family member that would be great here? If so, let them know about TTEC and make sure they list you as their referrer when applying. There’s a bonus in it (up to 9000 PLN) for you after they’ve been employed for 3 months*

Relocation Allowance

If you are moving to Krakow from abroad or from another Polish city to start your employment, you might be* eligible for a relocation allowance of up to 2000 PLN to cover your costs.
